Black Box Theatre

2 Hour Event - Includes up 1 hour before and 1 hour after the event for set up and break down: $350
(30x60 ft theatre space rental for 2 hrs)

3-5 Hour Event -Total; you must be packed up and out of the space after 5 hours have passed: $375
(30x60 ft theatre space rental for 3-5 hrs)

6 Hours & up Event: $75/Hour
(30x60 ft theatre space rental for 6 & up hrs)
*Payment must be given 1 month prior to the event start date
 via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an additional 3% Service Charge.*

*Renter will be subject to all damage fees if damage is found to anything provided to the renter.*


What's Provided With Space Rental:
  • Room Configured: This is our 30 x 60 foot event space that can be used in any configuration the renter wishes to have it in. The event space will be configured to your emailed specifications by 30 minutes prior to the start time of your event. ​
  • Event Location (Redmond Academy): Up to 2 hours of space rental at - 18001 NE 76th St., Ste #150 Redmond WA, 98052; We are located in the building with red awnings across the street from​ Home Depot and Fred Meyer in Redmond.
  • Event Seating: We can provide over 100 chairs as well as 4 benches for your event. We have tiered seating options with seating platforms available for your event. We will have seats and platforms set up by your specifications 30 minutes prior to your event. 
  • Event Lighting: We offer around the room LED Stage Lighting as well as Spotlight Capabilities for any event you wish to produce. Various stage lighting is available throughout the space. A lighting/sound designer will be scheduled for your event at an additional $25/hour. 
  • Event Sound: We offer up to seven handheld microphones (4 cordless and 3 with cords), five microphone stands, and surround sound speakers for music. We will provide you with various sound options available throughout your event and a sound/lighting designer at an additional $25/hour. 
  • Projector/Projector Screen: We offer a projector and a screen that can be used for any PowerPoints or video projections that you wish to play during your event. We will provide you with various projector options throughout your event and a sound/lighting designer at an additional $25/hour. 
  • Performance Space/Platforms: We provide space for any theatrical or dance performance to occur in our facility on our danceable flooring as well as our various sized platforms available for use during performance events. We will configure any performance space or platforms to your specifications 30 minutes prior to your event. 
  • Decorations/Set/Prop/Costume Storage: We provide storage for any event-related items if your event is more than 1 day. Storage space is limited. Please email ​rataoffice@gmail.com for inquiries. 
  • Amenities: 10 tables (6ft), 12 tables (8ft), tablecloths, two bathrooms with 4 stalls, two water fountains, one large fridge with a freezer, one mini fridge, internet access, 2 backstage areas available for dressing rooms, a green room area available for any food or items you wish to bring.

Event Bonus Charges:
  • A lighting/sound designer will be provided for you at an additional $25/hour. (You may provide your own stage manager/lighting designer if you are renting our space for a theatrical production of a show. Any time we need to provide your staff with to train them on our lighting and sound equipment will be subject to a $25/hour charge)​
  • Renters are free to rent 1 or 2 of our 25ftx35ft rehearsal rooms as well during their event at an additional $35/hour/room
  • Every half hour before/after the event that the renters are still in the event space costs an additional $50/30 minutes.
  • Payment suggested to be given 1 month prior to the event start date via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an Additional 3% Service Charge.
  • Renter will be subject to all damage fees if damage is found to anything provided to the renter

What Renters May Provide:
(We do not provide these items, but they are welcome)
  • Any props, sets, and costumes you wish to provide, if you are renting for a theatrical or dance performance. 
  • Cake (along with candles and firestarter)
  • Food items
  • Forks, Plates, and Napkins
  • Soft drinks or juices. If you would like to bring alcohol to your event, you will need to purchase insurance that encompasses liquor license options for you and your guests. 
  • Additional decorations
  • Any other pre-approved items you'd like to bring to your event! (Email ​rataoffice@gmail.com for ​approval)

Rehearsal Spaces

Rental Price: $35/Hour/Room
(25x35 ft space rental for 1 hour or more; 2 rehearsal rooms of the same size available)
*Payment must be given
via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an additional 3% Service Charge. Charges will be made on a singular or monthly basis, depending on how often space rental is requested by the renter*

*Renter will be subject to all damage fees if damage is found to anything provided to the renter*

  • Room Configured: This is our 20 x 40 foot rehearsal space that can be used in any configuration the renter wishes to have it in. The event space will be configured to your emailed specifications by 30 minutes prior to the start time of your event. ​
  • Location (Redmond Academy): Up to 2 hours of space rental at - 18001 NE 76th St., Ste #150 Redmond WA, 98052; We are located in the building with red awnings across the street from​ Home Depot and Fred Meyer in Redmond.
  • Mirrors: We provide one full wall of mirrors in both of our rehearsal spaces for your event/rehearsal. ​
  • Sound: We offer up to seven handheld microphones (4 cordless and 3 with cords), five microphone stands, and surround sound speakers for music. We will provide you with 1 default setting of sound specifications. 
  • Seating: We provide over 100 seats as well as 4 benches for your event/rehearsal. We will have seating set up by your specifications 30 minutes prior to your event. 
  • Decorations/Set/Prop/Costume Storage: We provide storage for any event-related items if you are using our space for more than 1 day. Storage space is limited. Please email ​rataoffice@gmail.com for inquiries. 
  • Amenities: 10 tables (6ft), 12 tables (8ft), tablecloths, two bathrooms with 4 stalls, two water fountains, one large fridge with a freezer, one mini fridge, internet access, 2 backstage areas available for dressing rooms, a green room area available for any food or items you wish to bring.

Rehearsal Space Bonus Charges:
  • Every half hour after the event/rehearsal that the renters are still in our space costs an additional $50/30 minutes. ​
  • Renters are free to rent a second 20ftx40ft rehearsal room as well at an additional $35/hour
  • Renters are free to rent our 30ftx60ft Black Box Theatre room as well at an additional $75/hour
  • Payment suggested to be given 1 month prior to the event start date via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an Additional 3% Service Charge.
  • Renter will be subject to all damage fees if damage is found to anything provided to the renter

Sets/Props/Costume Rentals

Sets: $750
(All sets from 1 selected show)
  • 1 Set Piece: $30-$300, depending on the piece

Props: $500
(All props from 1 selected show)
  • 1 Prop Piece: $10-$75, depending on the piece

Costumes: $750
(All costumes from 1 selected show)
  • 1 Costume Piece: $15-$100, depending on the piece

Specialty Items: $1,500
(All 4 Plants from "Little Shop of Horrors")

All Sets, Props, and Costumes for 1 Show: $1,500
(All costumes, props, and sets for 1 show - excluding specialty items)

 via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an additional 3% Service Charge.*

Event Bonus Charges:​
  • Renters are free to rent our items up to 2 weeks. Every additional day past 14 days that you have our items, you will be subject to a charge of an additional $100/day
  • Payment suggested to be given at the end of the event via cash or check. Any card purchases are subject to an Additional 3% Service Charge.
  • Renter will be subject to all damage fees if damage is found to anything provided to the renter
