A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include "What I Did for Love, "One," "I Can Do That," "At the Ballet," "The Music and the Mirror," and "I Hope I Get It." We will be running our classes ONLINE at their regularly scheduled times as listed below. Our classes will remain ONLINE ONLY until May 4th, or when our "Stay At Home" orders Nationally or Regionally have been lifted. Once they are lifted, we will offer both in-class as well as online class options where you can either come to your class physically or watch your class at home at the same time as scheduled below.
Class Registration:
Register for a class online via the link provided above, and then you will receive an emailed meeting invitation for the date and time associated with your class. The BEST way to access classes is to click "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" that is located at the bottom of your emailed invitation on the date and time of your scheduled class and then download the FREE Microsoft Teams app once prompted. Downloading the Microsoft Teams app is NOT necessary when you log-in from the web on your computer (though is suggested for you to do so), but IS necessary if you are accessing the class on your phone.
How To Access Recorded Classes:
Classes will be recorded and emailed to you for your review at your leisure. All students also have the option of recording any portions of the video if they are live during the class itself.
Online Only Classes:
For those classes that teachers are offering completely online, there may be a 5-30 minute time frame at the end of the class where students will be prompted to practice certain skills on their own without teacher supervision. This time frame may be non-existent or up to 30 minutes, depending on the number of students and length of the class.
For any further questions or concerns, please email us at: rataoffice@gmail.com

June 2017
Adapted by Nina Faso
Additional Contributions by Gordon Greenberg
Songs by Craig Carnelia, James Taylor, Mary Rodgers, Micki Grant, Stephen Schwartz, Susan Birkenhead, Lin-Manuel Miranda
Nominated for 6 Tony Awards, this classic has been updated for a modern age featuring new songs by Tony Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as favorites by Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia, and James Taylor.
This new 2012 version of Working is a musical exploration of 26 people from all walks of life. While most of the professions have been updated, the strength of the show is in the core truths that transcend specific professions; the key is how people's relationships to their work ultimately reveal key aspects of their humanity, regardless of the trappings of the job itself. The show, still set in contemporary America, contains timeless truths. This new version of Working allows the audience to get a rare glimpse of the actors and technicians working to put on a show. This raw adaptation only enhances the realistic and relatable nature of the subject matter.
With extremely modest set and orchestra requirements, universal subject matter, and featuring a multi-ethnic ensemble cast of variable size, Working is one of the most accessible, relevant and substantive musicals ever created. The new, revised 2012 version includes updated lyrics, a streamlined book and two new songs.
Audition Dates: March, 2017
Performance Dates: June 29 - July 2, 2017
Audition Age Range: 12 - 18 Years
Students younger or older than the age range must email ratakwillis@gmail.com for permission
