Creepy Questions...
IS "HAUNTED ACADEMY" SCARY FOR KIDS?
"Haunted Academy" is meant to be a scary experience. However, we do have a "1/2 Day at the Academy" time period each day of the Haunt that is meant for a Family Scare experience (Ages 3 and under are FREE). All of the lights will be on, and there will be less scary aspects, such as a character meet-and-greet, available during this time. For the "Full Day at the Academy" time period, the lights turn off, and the intensity increases for Full Scare. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. YOU are the judge of whether you can make it through the haunt. Enter...if you DARE! ARE THE PERFORMERS GOING TO TOUCH ME? They are instructed not to touch you, but they may brush past. CAN WE TOUCH THE PERFORMERS? No. If you intentionally touch any of our performers, you will be escorted out by our security with NO refunds given. WHAT'S YOUR POLICY ON ELECTRONICS (Cell Phones, Cameras, Video Taping)? We allow cell phones into the haunt, but please leave them in a secure place on your person. If you lose anything during the haunt, we will try and return it to you at the front desk. NO Flashlights Allowed NO Photography Allowed NO Videography Allowed IS "HAUNTED ACADEMY" SAFE? Yes. All of our sets, props, and facilities are meant for you to have a spooky and safe experience. DO YOU ACCEPT CHECKS OR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS? Yes. We can except cash, checks, debit and credit cards at the door. Your other option for tickets is online. (Surcharge may be added) CAN WE WEAR COSTUMES? Yes, costumes are accepted. No masks allowed. |
ARE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes. However, we do suggest that you use the bathrooms at home, because "Haunted Academy's" restrooms are located deep within the haunt. You may be so frightened that you pee your pants before reaching the bathrooms. IS "HAUNTED ACADEMY" ADA ACCESSIBLE? Our haunt is built to be able to bring wheelchairs through. We also have ADA accessible bathrooms. If you have any accessibility questions, please send us an email at rataoffice@gmail.com. WHERE SHOULD WE PARK? We have assigned parking spots in front of "The Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts." If there is no more parking in our lot, feel free to park at Target or Fred Meyer's parking lot and walk over to us. CAN WE GET REFUNDS? NO refunds given after tickets are purchased. You may switch to a different haunt night however, if you email us at rataoffice@gmail.com within 24 hours of your new haunt date. HOW DO I VOLUNTEER? We need volunteers of actors, set designers, make-up designers, costume designers, security, and production managers throughout our event. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for "Haunted Academy," please send an email to us at rataoffice@gmail.com. CAN WE DONATE ANY ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO "THE REDMOND ACADEMY OF THEATRE ARTS?" Yes! As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, "The Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts" would love to accept your donations. You may donate via cash, check, credit or debit card. WHAT WILL CHANGE EACH SEASON? Almost all of the sets, props, and costumes will be new or changed each season. |
