Frequently Asked Questions

Sibling Discount

Classes and Camps – there is an automatic $25 discount applied upon registration for classes and camps.  No discount code needed.
Shows and Productions – siblings participating in a show within a given season will receive a $50 discount upon registration.  

Trial Classes

Trials are available for weekly classes, to redeem your trial class, sign up for a "Single Class" on the date and time you would like to take your trial. 

Prorating Options

If you are signing a student up for a weekly class after its start date, please email [email protected] for a discount code before registering! Trial classes are included in your prorated class amount. Proration starts on week 2. If you have missed the first week, please email us about scheduling 1 make-up class option for your student. 

Code of Conduct

The Redmond Academy strives every day to deliver the very best experiences and build character in our students, both on and off stage.  We value every individual.  To encourage the creative environment where each student, staff, volunteer, and family member feels safe and has the space to thrive and learn, the Redmond Academy holds a zero-tolerance policy for the following:
  • Fighting or disruptive behavior with another student, staff, volunteer, or parent.
  • Destruction or theft of any property or materials.
  • Disrespect towards oneself or others.
  • Use of inappropriate language and/or innuendo.
  • Discrimination or harassment in any form (including sexual) 
  • Engaging with dangerous and/or illegal items (ie drugs, alcohol, tobacco, weapons etc)
 
If a student, staff, family, or volunteer breaks this code of conduct, their registration and association with the Academy may be cancelled without refund or credit given. Thanks for contributing to our safe and welcoming place for all.

Refund Policy

All cash refunds are subject to a 6% administrative fee
  • Classes and camps: no cash refunds available for class or camp registration within 72 hours of class or camp start date.
  • Show tuition: no cash refunds available for production tuition after cast read through date as defined by the respective show conflict calendar.
  • Tickets: all tickets are non-refundable.
  • Scholarships: refunds are not available for unused scholarship awards. 

​Other Refund information: 
  • Unused Class/Camp/Production tuition can be credited to future class/camp/productions within twelve months of original purchase date. 
  • Class/Camp/Show tuition credit will be prorated based time remaining of the class/camp/production.
  • Refunded tuition (full or prorated) may be donated to the Academy as a 501(c)3 non profit organization and a tax receipt will be issued in the name of the person on record for the purchase.
  • Unused show tickets are not transferable to future dates.

Other Registration Information

  • Online registration: students must be registered online before the class begins - unless students are doing a single class trial.
  • Student minimums: there is a 2-student minimum requirement for classes and a 3-student minimum requirement for camps to be offered. A transfer or full refund will be offered whenever a class is cancelled by Redmond Academy due to low enrollment.
  • Trial class emergency release form: students trying a Fall, Winter, or Spring class must fill out an Emergency Release Form before the class starts. Trial students have 5 days to register for the class, after which the spot will be opened for other students.
  • Make up classes: all make up classes must occur within the same session. Any class credits must be used during the same school year. Redmond Academy does not issue refunds or prorate tuition for missed classes.
  • Discounts: only one voucher, discount, or deal can be utilized at one time. ​
